New Tokyo Office For Dimension 3D

Office to serve Japanese, Korean and Australian Markets' Growing Demand for Functional 3D Models

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2007--The Dimension 3D Printing Group, a business unit of Stratasys, Inc. (Nasdaq:SSYS), today announced it has opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to Japan, the new office will support Dimension's market reach in Australia and Korea.

"Over the last year, we've seen an 89 percent increase in the number of Dimension 3D printing systems shipped to Japan," said Jon Cobb, vice president and general manager of 3D printing for Stratasys. "As new design centers appear in Japan, Korea and Australia, the demand for reliable, high-quality 3D printing technology in this region will continue to grow. The durable models Dimension 3D printers produce meet the demands manufacturers have for desktop systems that can produce nearly finished parts. The addition of the Japan office will better position us to capitalize on opportunities in this region."

The addition of the Japan office comes on the heals of Dimension's recent opening of an office in Shanghai, China. The Japan and China offices further expand Dimension's reach in Asia Pacific, a region that already includes offices and a network of Dimension partners in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The area manager for the new Dimension Japan office is Scott Papenfuss. He can be contacted via email at spapenfuss@dimensionprinting.com.
